The ground rules for using STEM Rabbit. Effective July 23, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Scient Systems("we," "us"), the operator of STEM Rabbit and its STEM Quest Academy programs. By using this website, you agree to them. Because our students are children, a parent or legal guardian accepts these terms on the student's behalf as part of enrollment, and is responsible for the student's use of the platform.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we protect it, and is part of these terms.
Student accounts are created by our staff after enrollment โ there is no self-signup. Keep your username and password private: an account is for one student only, and families are responsible for activity that happens under their student's account. If you think an account has been accessed by someone else, tell us right away and we'll reset it. We may suspend or reset accounts when needed to keep the platform secure.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or end access for violations of these rules. When the concern involves a student's behavior, we'll raise it with the parent or guardian first whenever we reasonably can.
Live classes run on Google Meet. Meet links are for the enrolled student and their family only โ please don't share them. Classes are usually not recorded; an instructor may record a class at their discretion, and any recording is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
These terms cover use of the platform. Enrollment, tuition, payments, refunds, class scheduling, and makeup classes are arranged directly between your family and the academy in your enrollment communications, which govern those topics.
The lessons, games, artwork, characters (including the STEM Rabbit mascot), and other materials on the platform belong to Scient Systems or its licensors. Enrolled families may use them for personal, non-commercial learning. Please don't copy, redistribute, or sell them.
Projects and creations a student makes are their own. To run the platform, we store and display student work inside the student's account features (like saved avatars and progress) โ we don't publish student work publicly.
We work hard to keep STEM Rabbit available and improving, but we can't promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, be added, or be retired over time. If we make a change that meaningfully affects enrolled students, we'll communicate it to families.
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the platform will be error-free or that any particular learning outcome will be achieved.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scient Systems will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, and our total liability for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the amount your family paid us for the service in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Talk to us first. If you have a problem, email ask@scientsystems.com and give us 30 days to work it out with you informally โ most issues get resolved this way.
Then arbitration. If we can't resolve it informally, you and Scient Systems agree that any dispute arising from these terms or the platform will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis rather than in court, with the details of the arbitration โ including the arbitrator and the procedures โ agreed on a case-by-case basis. Neither of us may bring a class action or representative proceeding. Either party may instead bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
You can stop using the platform at any time, and a parent or guardian can request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or when an enrollment ends.
If we change these terms, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Meaningful changes will be communicated to enrolled families.
Effective July 23, 2026.
